Want to enjoy live music and an energized, good time? Check out Popfest hosted by The Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach (113 Dickinson Street). Hear Power Pop, Britpop & Pop Punk bands on four stages all weekend.
Saturday, April 14th:Â Annual Flea Market at Cape Henlopen State Park
This flea market takes place at the Seaside Nature Center in Cape Henlopen State Park from 9am-3pm. If you have items to donate they may be donated at the Nature Center on Friday, 4/13 from 10am-1pm. There are some good deals to be had, so check it out! (In case of rain the flea market will be held in the Auditorium.)
Saturday, April 14th:Â Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
Support the Kiwanis Club as they raise money for local children’s charities. Enjoy all you can eat pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea, and orange juice at the Applebee’s in Rehoboth Beach (36501 Seaside Outlet Drive). Tickets are $6.
Saturday, April 14th: The Atlantic Pearl Harbor
The Georgetown Public Library will be hosting a program called “The Atlantic Pearl Harbor: German U-Boats, Fort Miles and the Delaware Coastline†at 11am. Hear about Fort Miles in Lewes and the terror threat presented to the East Coast by German U-boats during World War II. This event is free and open to the public, but you must register by contacting the Georgetown Public Library (302-856-7958).
