Spotlight on the Lewes Tulip Festival

The popular Lewes Tulip Festival will be held Thursday, April 11^th-Saturday, April 13^th this year. Photos for the official photo contest are currently being accepted at the Fisher-Martin House (120 Kings Hwy) in Lewes from 10am-4pm weekdays until March 25^th. Categories for this year’s contest are Lewes architecture, Lewes landscapes, Quintessential Lewes, Tulips, Lewes Food, and Lewes Pets. The cost is $5 per submission and there is a maximum of 5 submissions per photographer. A grand prize of $100 will be awarded at the close of the festival. 5 Tips for Clearing Out Clutter

3. Control Your Closets. There are many ready-made storage solutions for closets. Find the type of shelving unit that best fits your needs and install it.

4. Build Beautiful Built-Ins. Surround a wall of windows, a set of doors, or other architectural feature of your home with simple built-in shelving to add an enormous amount of storage and structural interest to your home.

5. Choose Double-Duty Pieces. Utilize pieces of furniture that double as storage. For example a coffee table chest, storage bench, or storage ottoman.

Well the Sequester cuts are going into effect today. Now the Administration (who agreed to these cuts) can stop playing Chicken Little. If their Department Heads cannot cut 2+% from their current budget and still do their jobs-they should lose their jobs.
