Motor Cycle Helmets

Delaware’s Motor Cycle Helmet Law is again open
for debate.  I believe that all motor
cycle riders and passengers be required to have a helmet when riding a motor
cycle.  But the Libertarian in me, would
make wearing a helmet optional.
Insurance companies could have different  rates for people who wear helmets and those
who do not.

The same should be true for motor vehicle seat
belts.  They should be available to those
who want to use them, but it should not be illegal to not use them.  Again, insurance companies could charge
different rates for those who use seat belts and those who do not.  The police report for an accident usually
states if the parties in a car accident are wearing seat belts or in the case
of a motor cycle accident, It’s clear if the rider or passenger were wearing a
helmet or not.

It is time to get government out of our personal
lives, if people want to be stupid, the government cannot stop them.  Fred Sponseller

Extreme Home Makeover is in Sussex County and set to “MOVE THAT BUS” on Wednesday, August 31. The recipient is Dale Dunning  who has fed the needy in our area for the past 12 years.  Schell Brothers is the building sponsor and they are creating the Jussst Sooup Ministry Ranch complex with a home, soup kitchen, pavilion and guest cottage. It’s the largest build in the 9 year history of the show. (We may be a small state, but we tend to go BIG, honey!)

We strongly believe that residential real estate is a great investment and therefore can understand this thinking. However, if you have no desire to actually become an educated investor in this sector, you may be headed for more trouble than you were looking for.

Dale Dunning’s Jusst Sooup dream comes true!!

Lewes — Dale Dunning got up at 1 a.m. like she does most mornings to start her soup-cooking ritual. Little did she realize that her life would change dramatically by mid-morning.
